Shipping Information

Standard Shipping: All orders are shipped within 2 business days excluding holidays and weekends of receipt of your order. Allow 7 business days to receive your order. We proudly ship to PO, APO, FPO, and DPO boxes. All orders ship based on size and weight per shipping address within the contiguous United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and the U.S. territories. Express Shipping: We do not offer expedited or overnight shipping.

Returns and Exchanges

Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase with an original packing slip. Refunds are issued in the form of original payment for the returned merchandise (not including shipping or service fees). We are not able to offer returns in store for items purchased online. However, if you would like to exchange the item in person, please email capitol.store@oregonlegislature.gov​ . As we are unable to offer store credit, the exchange must be of equal or higher value than the item being exchanged. For health and safety reasons, pierced earrings are not returnable or exchangeable. Purchased items that are later offered at a discount may not be returned and re-purchased at the lower price. If your order arrives damaged, missing items, or we shipped the incorrect item; please contact us immediately at 503-986-1391 or email capitol.store@oregonlegislature.gov​. In the case of damage, it is important that all packaging be saved so we can determine how the damage occurred.

Frequently Asked Questions

 

  • I accidentally entered incorrect shipping location; how can I correct it? Please contact us immediately by phone at 503-986-1391 so we can correct the address before the item ships. Once you receive confirmation that the order has shipped, we are unable to revise the address.
  • I cannot find coupon code box, where is it? The coupon code box will be in the "Shopping Cart" page underneath the list of items in your cart. It is also accessible during the payments section of checkout in the bottom left of the screen.
  • Can I purchase an online gift certificate? We are working on the implementation of online gift certificates; however, they are not currently ready at this time.
  • How do I split an order to ship to multiple addresses? During step 2 of the checkout process, you are presented with the option to ship to multiple locations.
  • Can I place an international order? Yes, International orders are handled on a case-by-case basis and require you to call our toll-free number at 503-986-1391 to request a shipping quote. We only ship international orders by FedEx International Priority® Express with signature and insurance required. Shipping quotes start at $100 for this service.
  • I bought a gift for someone; will I be notified when they receive? Your shipping confirmation email will contain a FedEx tracking number that will allow you to check the progress of the gift so you can see when it's been delivered.
  • Why am I being charged for "oversized items"? Certain items are flagged as "oversized" and require special boxes with increased shipping rates. These items will be denoted with a special "oversized" tag.
  • Is it safe for me to use my credit card online? Yes, we use the industry standard SSL encryption to ensure secure data transmission. SSL establishes an encrypted link between your browser and our server, ensuring all data between the two is both private and secure.
  • I saw an item in the store that I don't see online, how can I purchase said item? If you saw an item in-store that you do not see online, please give us a call at 503-986-1391 and we can locate the item and complete the order over the phone.
  • Can I return or exchange an online purchase in person? You may exchange an online purchase in-store; however, you may not return it for a refund in-store. Please see our return policy for more information.
  • What do I do if my merchandise was damaged in transit? Contact us with your name and order number so that we may begin to initiate a claim with FedEx.
  • Can you give me more information on some of your items? Absolutely! Please email us at capitol.store@oregonlegislature.gov with the item number and what you would like to know, and we will gladly provide you with the information you need.
  • Can I see more pictures of a particular item? Yes! Send us an email with the item number and name of the item you would like more photos of, and we will send you more photos. If there is a particular part of the item, or specific image you would like to let us know.

 

Cancellations

Order processing begins immediately once order has been submitted. We are unable to change or cancel orders once placed.

Damaged Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, please contact Customer Service as soon as possible at capitol.store@oregonlegislature.gov​ and include your order number. Please keep the damaged merchandise and the original shipping materials. Customer Service will offer a prompt replacement of the item(s) or a refund.
